Optimize your inspection workflow!

Following the release of the X4 Version 7 in last December, Metrologic Group is pleased to announce the immediate availability of our Version 7 SP1. This new service pack includes several optimizations delivering an improved overall user experience of your software.

If you have not yet upgraded to the X4 Version 7, here are some of the major improvements we have focused on for the Metrolog and Silma product line:

  • Virtual World 3D inspection planning and programming based on our Silma solution (offline programming). Collision detection, avoidance as well as automatic path creation and optimization are now available for CMM and robot inspection programming.

  • Point Cloud acquisition and inspection with new device interfaces as well as new features aiming at facilitating large point cloud processing with utmost accuracy including new filtering method and best-in-class meshing functionalities.

  • Automation and Robot inspection with the integration of many new devices and Robot controllers, including various Collaborative Robots direct interfaces.

  • New and overall improved functionalities, focusing on GD&T engine and computations, section cutting tools and automatic feature recognitions, expression alignment improved flexibility, CAD parametric inspection and programming, Native DMIS engine and scripting and many other new tools. 
The Metrolog X4, Silma X4, Silma and Metrolog X4 i-Robot Software Version 7 SP1 is now available from our reseller’s network or for download directly on our extranet using your personal login.
